Graduated from the University of Economics, Prague. Holder of numerous certificates from financial and management training courses from leading banks and universities in UK, Switzerland and Germany.

Daniel started his Treasury trading and sales experience in ČSOB. As a Board member of Credit Lyonnais Czech Republic and Slovakia, he was responsible for Markets, Investment Banking and Corporate & Institutional client’s coverage. He served for more than 15 years as a Board member of Erste Bank CZ and Česká spořitelna, being responsible for Markets and Asset Management, Investment & Corporate Banking as well as Private Banking.

 

Before founding CLCF, Daniel acted as the Head of Value creation, Treasury and Financing in Family Office R2G a.s. Prague. As a member of the Board, he was responsible for creating new investment strategies and Treasury guidelines and the implementation of the Strategic Asset Allocation in a multi-asset, multi-market environment.

Daniel actively participated in several large assets acquisition processes – the attempted purchase of CEE beer assets of SAB/Miller, the acquisition of the leading producer of personal hygiene products Pegas Nonwovens listed on the Prague Stock Exchange as well creating midsized direct investments in thematic funds. Daniel was responsible for the Treasury and Investment management of AUM 650 m EUR.
